The following wonderful pictures show our students at The Marc Bolan School of Music and Film learning the skills of producing ‘One Minute Film Documentaries’ on our school smartphones. Each student chooses a subject/area of life in Sierra Leone, composes a script, shoots, narrates and then edits their video – adding music as well. The results will be published online soon!

Subjects include the effects of Covid lockdown on local farming communities and aspects of the lives of teenage girls – also affected by Covid.

We have been working close with Purple Field Productions and would like to express our most sincere thanks for their expertise and support in this area.

There are 2 more modules to follow; a 3 minute documentary and then a 5 minute documentary – all shot and edited on smartphones!

Our students are growing through their talents and experience, and our dream at The Marc Bolan School of Music and Film is coming true!!!
